Casa Hogar San Jose

15 children
Serves 15 children in central Tijuana who all battle terminal illness. The home also supports 40 families with chronically ill children in TJ. The home needs about $14,000 a year for food, medicines, and utilities. Two nuns with one support staff manage the home. This home can only be visited by groups of five or less. Children are admitted by referral from DIF, the Mexico social service agency, and the local hospitals where they are often abandoned. Their sole support currently comes from a church in the Midwest.
