Be sure to bring the proper identification to get back home! - Drivers license, school photo ID, certified birth certificate, passport, green card, etc. IF YOU ARE NOT A US CITIZEN, YOU MUST BRING A VALID GREEN CARD, PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD OR PASSPORT. A US Passport is not required for land based entry to the United States from Mexico until January 1, 2008.

Bring water and snacks for the bus ride. If bringing fruit, be sure to eat it or leave it at the orphanage before crossing back into the USA. We will provide lunch for everyone and eat with the children..

Please do not bring for the children used clothes, used shoes, candy or toys. Instead, if you wish to bring items to the orphanage, they could always use and you are welcomed to bring:

Bath Tissue
Diapers - all sizes
Baby wipes
Q-Tips
Laundry detergent, LIQUID
Dish soap
Bleach
Pine Sol Cleaner
Deodorant
Shampoo/Lice Shampoo + Conditioners
Mops & Push Brooms
Plastic Kitchen Dishes - Small glasses, dinner plates, Tupperware, small utensils
Enfamil - Powdered food (NAN) for babies (Soy products too - some babies are allergic to diary)
White socks, all sizes
Bath Towels
Please leave the expensive jewelry, watches, Gameboys, iPods, day planners, sunglasses, hats, etc at home. They will get lost or broken.
